]]> After the great success of our tree offer, the Trust decided to offer each Fintry homeowner, group or business, up to three native Scottish fruit bushes to plant within their own land and green spaces

We have once again been delighted with the response – a fantastic 61 households have taken up the offer of free fruit bushes! As a result, there are now 168 aditional fruit bushes planted in Fintry, helping to increase the village’s biodiversity and sustainability.

Thanks to everyone who has taken up this free fruit bush offer.

    All you need to do, is get a quote from your preferred supplier and send us this, along with your completed grant application form. Please note that if you received a grant in a previous funding round, this must be complete before you can apply for a grant in the new funding round.

    ]]>     With funding from the Scottish Government CARES programme, we will shortly be running a small project investigating the development of a collective purchase program of renewable heating systems. This would be for householders in Fintry and would include the replacement of aging, and some failing, existing renewable installations as well as the replacement of traditional, carbon intensive systems. This project is due to complete by the end of 2024.

    The Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) supports communities to engage with, participate in and benefit from the energy transition to net zero emissions. CARES is managed by Local Energy Scotland and offers a range of financial support to local energy projects.
