With funding from the Scottish Government CARES programme, we will shortly be running a small project investigating the development of a collective purchase program of renewable heating systems. This would be for householders in Fintry and would include the replacement of aging, and some failing, existing renewable installations as well as the replacement of traditional, carbon intensive systems. This project is due to complete by the end of 2024.
The Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) supports communities to engage with, participate in and benefit from the energy transition to net zero emissions. CARES is managed by Local Energy Scotland and offers a range of financial support to local energy projects.
