Tuesday 24th November, 7pm, Fintry Museum
We look forward to welcoming Tom Bowser of Argaty Red Kites to Fintry to hear about his experience in Scottish wildlife conservation and rewilding. Tom is a conservationist, writer and rewilding land manager. He has also recently been appointed as the Co-Convenor of the Scottish Rewilding Alliance (SRA).
Tom and his family run Argaty Red Kites – a working upland livestock farm in Doune and home to the award-winning Argaty Red Kites project. Argaty were the first private landowners in British history to legally release beavers into the wild. The farm hosts red kite viewings, beaver tours, and runs several wildlife viewing hides.
We hope you will join us for what promises to be an engaging and informative evening.
Tom will be selling his books – A Sky Full of Kites: A Rewilding Story and Waters of Life: Fighting for Scotland’s Beavers – after his talk.
