Smart Fintry

Smart Fintry was a two-year project funded by the Local Energy Challenge Fund which is managed by Local Energy Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government.

The project was delivered by a consortium of partners: Fintry Development Trust as the lead, Veitch Cooper, Energy Assets, Good Energy and Herriot Watt University.

The project’s aims were to balance local energy generation with consumption and provide a unique green energy tariff to residents along with bespoke smart meters, resulting in a reduction of energy use.
