David was one of the ‘Fintry Four’ who began negotiations with a local wind farm developer back in 2003 which led to the creation of FREE (Fintry Renewable Energy Enterprise) in 2005 and then FDT (Fintry Development Trust) in 2007. David has been a volunteer trustee ever since and was Chair of the Trust or over 10 years. David’s passions are design, environmental issues, steam trains and tea.
