Renewables Assistance Grant

This grant has been designed to assist households looking to convert their home energy system from fossil fuels to a renewable, green system (e.g. ASHP/GSHP/Solar), or to make major improvements/updates to their existing, inadequate renewable energy system to make it fit for purpose.

It is hoped that the level of funding available will assist households in Fintry to make the switch to renewable energy systems; or to renew/overhaul their existing renewable energy system making it fit for purpose, in recognition that the village has many ‘early adopters’ of such systems and that some of these systems are inadequate or failing to function.

There is up to £5000 available for this grant (per household, per funding round) and up to 5 grants available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis (by date for each application which meets the criteria).

All applications will require either a quote for the removal of the fossil fuel energy system and installation of the renewable system; or a statement on the inefficiency and inadequacy of an existing renewable energy system, along with a quote as to what works are required to make the existing (but failing/inadequate) renewable energy system fit for purpose.
