NEW grants and financial support

We’re delighted to announce our new grants and financial support for the Fintry community.

Two new grants, available now:

Green Gardening Grant: Up to £1000 available. Households only. This grant has been designed to encourage and enable Fintry households to grow fruits, vegetables and pollinator friendly plants; plant native species of trees and shrubs, add ponds and habitats for wildlife and to create suitable spaces for these within Fintry.

Renewables Assistance Grant: Up to £5000 available. Households only. This grant has been designed to assist households looking to convert their home energy system from fossil fuels to a renewable, green system (e.g. ASHP/GSHP/Solar), or to make major improvements/updates to their existing, inadequate renewable energy system to make it fit for purpose.

We also have two new funds available. These have been designed to help the community with ‘green’ opportunities or unexpected difficulties (both open now):

Environmental Project Fund: Up to £1000 available. This fund has been designed to encourage and enable Fintry households, groups and businesses to make green improvements or changes which will have a positive impact on the environment, in general, or specific to Fintry. This fund has an ‘open’ criteria to allow you to come to us with your environmental ideas.

Emergency Discretionary Renewables Fund: This grant is intended to support those who have reached a crisis point with their renewable energy system, whose circumstances require urgent assistance in order to provide a functioning renewable energy system.

All grants and funds have limited, ring-fenced amounts available.

Applications will be treated on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.

Please read the criteria for each grant carefully before applying and please remember you can only apply for one grant at a time (excludes Log Discount Grants and Fuel Payment Grants).
